Rigs are used for dryland mushing where snow is absent or unreliable, dog rigs sometimes refered to as dog trikes are a great way of exercising or racing teams of sled dogs

Rig Bag
Many Sled dog clubs require rig bag to be attached to the rig in dryland mushing, the rig bag allows for injured dogs to be picked up and placed in the bag so the musher can complete the race without dropping a dog. In reality many people use rig bags as a handy carrying devices for storage on their rigs.
