Racers itching to try out their new sled dog equipment could head to an upcoming event in Suffolk.
The British Siberian Husky Racing Association (BSHRA) is holding the opening weekend of this year’s British Championship at Brandon Park on November 21st and 22nd.
Consisting of two separate one-day races, it is being organised by Caroline Kisko and Andree Weymouth.
The competition is now in its 13th season and uses the latest technology to time its participants to one-hundredth of a second.
Racers must tackle a variety of terrain, with younger enthusiasts able to compete in Rooker Musher leagues and old hands encouraged to join the Veteran Team.
"BSHRA aims to provide a fun day’s competition for all Sibes and their owners," organisers remarked. "For uncomplicated fun and good competition, come and join us – you will be made most welcome."
Those trying to locate Brandon Park are advised it is found just off the B1106, close to the A11.
