Dog scooters ‘can improve canine behaviour’

October 12th, 2009

Those looking to calm down their canine could follow one commentator’s advice and invest in a dog scooter.

Writing for Dogs Across America, Mike Behnke claimed some animals can have behavioural issues simply due to being bored and needing to work up a sweat.

He argued investing in a dog scooter could be a good solution to this problem, as it could allow both parties to get in shape.

For the uninitiated, Mr Behnke explained the vehicles are usually unmotorised, can have a range of tyre sizes and comprise a footboard and front shocks.

"Most dogs take to this sport with little encouragement needed. They get to run as fast as they can and get to see and visit new places," he said.

Another commentator who has offered recommendations in this area is the inventor of dog scooter technology Mark Schuette.

He told the Daily Mail many breeds of dog and weather conditions are catered for with the vehicle.ADNFCR-2611-ID-19405023-ADNFCR
