Dog scooters
offer fitness benefits to animals and their owners, it has been asserted.
Some canines can be a little reticent to use the equipment at first, but it is a relatively quick and straightforward task to help them enjoy the technology, Mark Schuette told the Daily Mail.
The scooter designer explained human users can dictate the pace of the machinery, giving both parties speed targets.
He also stated control is a key function of the gear, claiming it allows owners to take their animals out for a walk in all seasons.
All ages of rider, weather conditions and breed of dog are catered for by the vehicles, Mr Schuette added.
Discussing how the contraptions work, he told the news provider: "The location and the way the dog is harnessed into the scooter was designed to be neutral to the units’ handling, and place no weight on the dog."
Earlier this year, Mr Scuette told the Examiner cruising around the National Monuments on a dog scooter could be a fun activity for US animal lovers.
