The British Siberian Husky Racing Association (BSHRA) has thanked its marshals, snubbers, starters and scrutineers after completing another successful season.
In correspondence sent to its members, officials said they were unable to thank all of the people who have helped them this year in person.
For this reason, marshal drivers, trail changers, first aiders, photographers, webmasters and organisers have been offered praise for their efforts.
Timekeeper Alistair was singled out for particular praise, while the caterers at the Sherwood Pines and Pembrey meetings were also highlighted for keeping sled dogs fed and watered.
The organisers said: “Another season over, don’t worry it’ll soon be autumn, that summer thing will pass quickly.”
BSHRA kicked off its season at Santon Downham in Suffolk on November 21st and 22nd 2009, before enjoying races in Kings Forest, Elveden Forest and R2 in Suffolk.
The racing organisation was set up at the end of the 1995-96 season after the British Sled Dog Racing Association was dissolved
