A loving home is being sought for a Siberian husky who is currently living with the Scottish SPCA.
Daemon recently arrived at the Scottish Borders Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre, where staff have been building up his confidence.
The one-year-old had been kept indoors permanently by his previous owners, meaning the non-profit body had to work hard to gain the animal’s trust.
However, he has "come on leaps and bounds" since moving in at the centre and is now ready to move on to a permanent home.
Daemon’s new owners will need to be mindful of his special diet, which has been introduced due to digestive problems.
"Any new owner would need to spend time with Daemon before rehoming him. Once he trusts them we’re sure they’ll find he’s a wonderful dog," centre manager Debbie Innes remarked.
Another consideration for the cute canine’s new owners could be securing him during car trips.
According to the Windsor Star’s Yvonne Sciacca, clever canines can hit the window controls if they are not buckled in securely with a dog harness.
