Canicross competitors invited to bring dog harnesses to Gloucester event

July 20th, 2010

Canicross competitors may wish to mark a date in their diary for a race next year.

CaniX is holding a two-day event in Westonbirt Arboretum, Gloucestershire on February 26th and 27th 2011, with entries due to close around a week before.

There will be 5km and 2km races at the meeting, which follows a programme of events taking place this year.

“If you are entering for both days, please complete an entry form for each day,” organisers said.

Canicross enthusiasts may already be planning to take their dog harnesses to compete in a meeting in Pembrey Forest on September 4th and 5th 2010, when bikejor competitions will also be held.

Further meetings are also planned for Hackney Marshes and Bracknell Forest, with the 13th EuroCaniX Championship taking place in Liege, Belgium between October 8th and 10th 2010.

The Cancross Trailrunners are also holding an event in Cannock Chase this weekend (July 24th and 25th 2010).ADNFCR-2611-ID-19898278-ADNFCR
