Canicross Trailrunners members are set to take their dog harnesses to an event in Surrey later this year.
The Pine Ridge 10km meeting in Wisley is accepting entries from canicross runners, who will be charged £16 for taking part.
Held on Surrey Wildlife Trust land, the race could be the perfect chance to check out the stunning woodland of Wisley and Ockham.
“It was a sell-out in its first year so do not delay your entry for too long,” organisers said.
They added that the course is easy to access from the M25 and A3 and there is ample room to park the car at the nearby Wisley Gardens.
Canicross competitors may decide to leave British shores to take part in a major annual event later this week.
The eight-day Trophee Des Montagnes, held in the French Alps, kicks off on Saturday (August 7th 2010), with four different races taking place as part of the meeting.
