The EuroLite Waist belt is a technical belt but once adjusted will fit like a glove - very comfortable and light to wear.

The blue back strap takes all the pulling force and is designed to sit very low. The mesh padding has good grip and prevents sliding or movement when running. Fixed leg straps (non-removable) prevent the belt from sliding up into the lower back, and waist strap prevents the belt from sliding down.

The Boa features a fully I-Beamed hot forged back and a keylock nose. Shoulder harnesses have in recent times replaced the H back harness as the alternative to the X-Back. This harness is the harness of choice for activities such as bikejoring, canicross, dog scootering and dog trekking, especially when the connection point is higher than the dog. It has also become popular as a walking harness with dog owners.

3 m (9.5 ft) long before stretching, it is made out of 1 inch wide tubular webbing with built-in bungee.

It has a brass trigger hook at one end with a small loop at the other for attaching to a cani-cross or walking belt via carabiner or panic snap.  This is the same line as used by IFSS world champion skijoring and cani-cross competitor, Sona Klikarova.

Manufactured by Nordkyn from polyethylene hollow braid rope, this neckline feature Italian Bronze snaps at each end to ensure it is one of the highest quality necklines on the market.  Approximately six inches long, it is used to connect lead dogs together by clipping it between their collars.

Necklines are also useful for running or walking two dogs by keeping them together. It reduces the risk of tangles and helps them to match pace when going along.  However please note it is important to let dogs match pace when running together as a much quicker dog can 'neckline' a slower dog, often causing the slower dog to be reluctant to run and make the experience uncomfortable.  This can be reduced by adding extra resistance to the dog team by applying brakes and slowing down to a pace which is comfortable for the slowest dog.

Keep Cool Dog Coats have been specially designed to keep your dog cool in any situation.  This unique fabric activated by water will keep your dog cool, yet dry on really hot days for up to 4 hours and all day on a warm/sunny day.  This product is totally different from any other dog coat on the market. 

The way the synthetic material works is as it puts moisture into the dogs coat the slower evaporation time actually cools the dog more.  The capillary action of the micro pores allows the dog coat to become considerably cooler than the outdoor air.  If your dog is already overheated, put the Keep Cool Dog Coat on them and it will bring their temperature back to normal within 10 minutes and will stop panting. Please see a vet immediately if required.

The Keep Cool Dog Coats are easy to use, just soak in cool water for a few minutes, lightly ring out and place the dog coat on your dog.  If off on a long walk or out playing for longer periods of time just re-wet the dog coat, you can use the water hose if you want, or pour water out of a bottle.   Although the Keep Cool Coat is used wet, it does not make your dog wet, nor does it drip and always feels cool and soft to the touch.  It is lightweight and breathable too.  The dog coat will become hard when dry, just simply re-wet and it comes back to life.  You will be amazed how these dog coats help keep your dog cool.  The Keep Cool Dog Coat is intended as a preventative measure, to be used before your dog is overheated.  We recommend you dry your dog coat between uses and store in the bag provided, make sure you do not leave in a very hot car.  This unique material is not affected by mould, mildew or odour, but if it does become soiled, you can machine or hand wash.

For your information, you can only hand wash the Royal Blue, whereas all the other colours you can machine wash on a delicate 30'c or lower in non-biological powder.

This Shoulder Harness has the same fitted neck and breastplate as our X-Back Harness with a D-ring (padded with neoprene) sewn near the centre of the dog's back. It has a floating cinch which uses a single side release snap (padded with neoprene) to close. Great for stopping escape artists!

The harness allows a center of the back point of attachment. It can also be used as a walking harness as there is a D-ring attachment point on the neck. The additional ring at the top of the harness can be used to attach the harness to the collar to help prevent the dog backing out of the harness. (Please note that some of the smaller sized harnesses may only have 1 ring due to the size).

All Nordkyn ganglines are made of hollow braid polyethylene, tougher and more flexible than polypropylene. They behave better in extreme cold, stretch less, and are more abrasion resistant. Heavy duty 3/4" brass snaps come on all tugs, with lighter 1/2" snaps on necklines. All snaps are easily replaced on the trail. Center, shock, and snublines are 3/8" ; tuglines and necklines are 1/4".

Tug lines are the term used for the line which connects the sled dog to the main gangline. The tug is often a different colour to the main gangline to help in resolving tangles quickly. 

Tuglines need to be long lasting and high wearing to take the constant pounding expected. 

Necklines are used to connect two dogs together when running in tandem to reduce tangles and achieve better control.

The panic snap is an essential piece of kit when skijoring or running with your dog in an activity such as Cani-Cross (sometimes called Cani-X). 

In an emergency situation, it may be necessary to quickly release yourself from your dog; using a panic snap allows you to pull the sliding locking joint back allowing the line to be released. This mechanism works even under tension.

The panic snap is also used in sledding and dryland mushing to secure the snub line to stationary objects (such as trees) while teams are untangled on the trail.

Please note some Cani-Cross organisations require the panic snap to be attached to the belt as opposed to the line. The use of a carabiner through the belt clips and attached to the panic snap allows the lines to be connected to the quick release mechanism.

The importance of allowing a dog access to water cannot be understated particularly during warm weather and activity; this handy little bowl can be clipped to a belt or tucked into a pocket and can be used to provide clean fresh water for your dog on the trail; great for hiking and backpacking or when out jogging.
