Cani-Cross is basically cross country running with your dog. It has developed from the origins of skijoring, where people ski with their dog pulling out in front of them.

The belt features a unique lowered pulling force design that helps to distribute the pull force to the hips and buttocks, reducing pressure on the spine.  The leg loops are adjustable as is the connection point for coupling to the dog to allow for correct centre of gravity alignment.

Modified from skijoring style belts, this walking belt has wide padding throughout with a separate closing clip.  

The belt is designed to be used by clipping both D rings together either directly to a lead or with a carabiner. 

This belt is one of the highest quality walking belts on the market and can also be used for Cani-Cross, or just going for a walk with your dogs. One size fits all.

Walking belts are commonly used for hands free dog walking or jogging with your dog. The unique feature of this style of belt is the light weight durable design. The use of two connecting D clips allows the strain of a dog pulling to be spread evenly throughout the belt without putting any pressure on the clip holding the belt together. 

Suggested items to match the product include a carabiner, collapsible waterbowl, and our bungee leads. Or add our Cani-Cross bungee and lines and use this item as part of your Cani-Cross kit! 

The harness allows a center of the back point of attachment.

This has the same fitted neck and breastplate as our X-Back Harness with a D-ring (padded with neoprene) sewn near the centre of the dog's back. It has a floating cinch which uses a single side release snap (padded with neoprene) to close. Great for stopping escape artists!

Can also be used as a walking harness as there is a D-ring attachment point on the neck.

The additional ring at the top of the harness can be used to attach the harness to the collar to help prevent the dog backing out of the harness.

Provides comfort and protection for the dog whilst running.

This is one of the highest quality, most versatile dog harnesses available on the market. This dog harness can be used as a long distance sledding harness, a walking / tracking harness, a Bikejoring / Scootering harness or as a Cani-Cross harness.

The harness reaches about half way down the dog's back, reducing the pressure on the dog's hips. Around the neck, it has closed cell padding, an adjustable body strap around the chest, and reflective tape. If your dog has lower back problems, then this is the perfect harness for it!

The padding material has been tested for abrasion, and does not damage the dogs' coat. It is almost non water absorbing and resistant to icing.
