How does it work?
It works in a very easy way: by means of a jaw tightened to the vertical saddle-holding pole, the aluminum bar containing the shock-absorbing mechanism is attached to the bike's frame. Then the cord is attached to the dog's collar or harness by a snap link ...and you're ready to go!

Bikejor is the sport of running your dog on your bike and is another great way to get out and exercise your dog.

This product is specifically designed to cope with the power of strong dogs pulling out front, by attaching the lines to the headstock and then guiding them through the Bikejor Converter’s end loop to guide the lines away from the wheel.

The powerful compression rubber allows the Bikejor Converter to absorb the impact of a dog lunging sideways without bending the antenna or twisting the clamp. This reduces the risk of damage to equipment, rider or dog.  The super powerful clamp should be firmly attached to the frame of the bike to ensure the front wheel can be turned without turning the Bikejor Converter.

This product is ideal to be used in association with the Ski-line bungees for either one or two dogs.

The Bikejor Converter can also be fastened underneath the saddle to allow dogs to run alongside the bike while keeping the lines or leads clear of pedals, wheels and gears.

The Bikejor Converter can also be fitted to Dog Scooters which do not have a purpose made brushbow.

Carabiners can be used for a wide variety of purposes in dog mushing and running activities.

The primary use is on the front of a sled for adding support to the connection of the ganglines to the snublines and the sled itself, but they are also commonly used for attaching leads and lines to other equipment such as walking belts, scooters and rigs.

The Boa is the rigging carabiner of choice for many climbers and it has proved to be one of our the popular carabiners over the last few years.

The Boa features a fully I-Beamed hot forged back and a keylock nose. This has had a dramatic effect on the weight and the Boa Screwgate comes in at a svelte 83g - which is remarkable considering its size. It works so well because the offset HMS shape makes it massively versatile and very strong - it operates both as a very good belaying carabiner and as a rigging biner.

A starter kit including everything you need to get started bikejoring with either 1 or 2 dogs. Bikejor is the sport of running your dog on your bike and is another great way to get out and exercise your dog.

Bikejoring is a dog mushing activity related to skijoring, canicross, and dog scootering. It is a recreation or sport where your dog, or dogs are attached to a towline, pull and run ahead of a cyclist.

This line is great for use with Bikejoring, Skijoring, Cani-cross and Walking with 1 dog.

Shoulder harnesses have in recent times replaced the H back harness as the alternative to the X-Back. This harness is the harness of choice for activities such as bikejoring, canicross, dog scootering and dog trekking, especially when the connection point is higher than the dog. It has also become popular as a walking harness with dog owners.

With greater versatility, this harness has a wide range of functions making it one of the best and most popular harnesses on the market.

Manufactured by ManMat, this harness is used and developed by 4 times Iditarod Winner and Yukon Quest Winner, Jeff King.

The harness reaches about half way down the dog's back, reducing the pressure on the dog's hips. Around the neck, it has closed cell padding, an adjustable body strap around the chest, and reflective tape. If your dog has lower back problems, then this is the perfect harness for it!

How To Use Thundershirt

Thundershirt is an excellent treatment for most types of dog anxiety and fear issues. For many anxieties, we recommend just putting on a Thundershirt and observing the results (No training!). How tight is “too tight”?
Thundershirt should only have comfortable pressure on your dog. How do you judge “comfortable”? You should be able to easily slip you fingers under the Thundershirt. For the next straps, they should only be gently stretched… no pressure is needed around the front chest area; the benefit from Thundershirt comes from the pressure around the torso behind the front legs. When securing the torso straps, you should be stretching the fabric, but it does not require any strenuous force.

Can I wash and dry Thundershirt?
Thundershirt is made out of durable, washable fabric. When necessary, Thundershirt may be washed in a regular cycle using regular laundry detergent and warm water. Hang to dry.

How long can my dog wear Thundershirt?
Thundershirt is comfortable and safe to wear for extended periods.

Manufactured by Nordkyn from polyethylene hollow braid rope, this neckline feature Italian Bronze snaps at each end to ensure it is one of the highest quality necklines on the market.  Approximately six inches long, it is used to connect lead dogs together by clipping it between their collars.

All Nordkyn ganglines are made of hollow braid polyethylene, tougher and more flexible than polypropylene. They behave better in extreme cold, stretch less, and are more abrasion resistant. Heavy duty 3/4" brass snaps come on all tugs, with lighter 1/2" snaps on necklines. All snaps are easily replaced on the trail. Center, shock, and snublines are 3/8" ; tuglines and necklines are 1/4".

Necklines are also useful for running or walking two dogs by keeping them together. It reduces the risk of tangles and helps them to match pace when going along.  However please note it is important to let dogs match pace when running together as a much quicker dog can 'neckline' a slower dog, often causing the slower dog to be reluctant to run and make the experience uncomfortable.  This can be reduced by adding extra resistance to the dog team by applying brakes and slowing down to a pace which is comfortable for the slowest dog.

Most toys have multiple squeakers in 'safety pockets' and all float and are washable. Ultimate toys are made with 4 Rows of Stitching, 4 Layers of Material, Protective Webbing and squeakers in Safety Pockets.

These dog toys are tough. However, the shape of the toy can impact  the dog's ability to penetrate the toy over time. That's why each Tuffy dog toy is rated on a 'Tuff' scale – to help you choose the Tuffy toy that is right for your dog.

Tuffy dog toys are strong enough to withstand fetch and tug games, but they are not chew toys. They are not indestructible dog toys!

Keep Cool Dog Coats have been specially designed to keep your dog cool in any situation.  This unique fabric activated by water will keep your dog cool, yet dry on really hot days for up to 4 hours and all day on a warm/sunny day.  This product is totally different from any other dog coat on the market. 

The way the synthetic material works is as it puts moisture into the dogs coat the slower evaporation time actually cools the dog more.  The capillary action of the micro pores allows the dog coat to become considerably cooler than the outdoor air.  If your dog is already overheated, put the Keep Cool Dog Coat on them and it will bring their temperature back to normal within 10 minutes and will stop panting. The Keep Cool Dog Coats are easy to use, just soak in cool water for a few minutes, lightly ring out and place the dog coat on your dog.  If off on a long walk or out playing for longer periods of time just re-wet the dog coat, you can use the water hose if you want, or pour water out of a bottle.   Although the Keep Cool Coat is used wet, it does not make your dog wet, nor does it drip and always feels cool and soft to the touch.  It is lightweight and breathable too.  The dog coat will become hard when dry, just simply re-wet and it comes back to life.  You will be amazed how these dog coats help keep your dog cool.  The Keep Cool Dog Coat is intended as a preventative measure, to be used before your dog is overheated.  We recommend you dry your dog coat between uses and store in the bag provided, make sure you do not leave in a very hot car.  This unique material is not affected by mould, mildew or odour, but if it does become soiled, you can machine or hand wash.
